Special EventsMemorial Day Concert in the Park & Fireworks On Memorial Day thousands of people gathered at Ditto Landing to socialize and enjoy the beautiful weather, the music, sunset on the river and the reflected sparkle of fireworks on the water. Plan to attend another "Concert in the Park" to be held at Ditto Landing September 10, 2007 featuring the "Rocket City Jazz Orchestra" and more.

Playground Equipment Ribbon Cutting. Huntsville Mayor Loretta Spencer, Madison County Commissioner Jerry Craig, Huntsville Councilwoman Sandra Moon and Ditto Landing Board President Wallace Kirkpatrick participate in a ribbon cutting to celebrate the new playground equipment provided for the fun and enjoyment of the children visiting Ditto Landing ... not to mention the enjoyment of the accompanying adults.
Ditto Landing Adds Van for Transit Boaters (and Billboard Service) Ditto Landing provides transportation to area events to transit boaters with the use of nine passenger van. The van has been decked out with a photographic montage and web address, thus providing service and information to the area about the beauty of Ditto Landing.
Pyrotechnics. High speed cameras caught the demolition of the southern span of the old Clay Bridge across the Tennessee River at Ditto Landing. The bridge was replaced by the new, modern, and, much wider bridge at this location. We at Ditto would like to thank the City of Huntsville and all of the sponsors that made the Armed Forces Concert such a great success. A Special thanks to the men and women in our military that fight for our freedom!
Ditto Days' (formerly Spring Fling) is held every
year in the spring, an in-water boat show and RV expo to kick off the
season! The annual Parade of Lights has been postponed
until a to-be-announced date.
