PUBLIC MEETING: Friday, July 20, 2007, 12:30 p.m. at the Kingston Pavilion at Ditto Landing to receive inform the community and our customers and to get feedback regarding our application for the Land and Water Conservation Fund grant by Ditto Landing for repairs to the Kingston Pavilion. The meeting will be conducted by TARCOG, Top of Alabama Regional Council of Government in partnership with the Huntsville/Madison County Marina and Port Authority. Application deadline 8/1/07. |

LADIES!! Ditto Landing hosts a ‘Boating 101 for Women’ as we CRUISE FOR THE CURE on JULY 20, 2007, from 1 to 6 p.m. presented by Rambo Marine and Life on the Water Magazine. U.S.C.G. Captain Cathy Backe, ladies from North Alabama Boaters Association, and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will show you the basics of operating a boat during the CRUISE FOR THE CURE…requested donations benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Research. Buffalo Rock-Pepsi will provide refreshments. Reserve space at Christy@lifeonthewater.org or just come and CRUISE FOR THE CURE on July 20,2007. Cash bar. Tickets $25.00 Adult, $20.00 student/Senior and $15.00 Children under 12. Event benefits Independent Musical Productions, a non-profit community theater group. | August 11, 2007 | North Alabama Boaters Association, Ditto Landing Chapter presents the Butler Basin Bash, Saturday, August 11, 2007, Cardboard Boat races at 3pm, burgers and hot dog supper that evening and live band at 6pm.
